    UBS' Suresh Tantia Sees Positive Outlook for Asian Tech Stocks

    The strengthening of the Taiwanese dollar will likely have a short-term negative impact on Taiwanese equities, but the dominant position of Taiwan tech companies should help offset the impact of currency moves in the long run, UBS’ Suresh Tantia tells Bloomberg. Meanwhile, Tantia also hopes that US-China trade negotiations will “start soon”, which could unlock latent potential in Chinese equities. (Source: Bloomberg)
