Kicking off the two-day celebrations of Asian talent, the Asia Star Entertainment Awards 2025 rolled out the red carpet for Day 1 festivities marked by pomp and show. THE BOYZ’s Juyeon and IVE’s Rei stepped onto the stage as the main hosts of the evening, with actor Jang Geunseok coming in as one of the A-list presenters.

Held at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan, the 2nd addition to the ASEA series started at 3:30 pm KST with the red carpet event. The main show followed two hours later with a start-studded lineup in attendance, including aespa, KiiiKiii, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts, NiziU, timelesz (minus Yositaka Hara), Xdinary Heroes, ENHYPEN and NEXZ.

On the first day of the Asia Star Entertainer Awards, aespa cleared out all competition by emerging as the undisputed winner of the show. Securing multiple wins, including two Grand Prizes (Daesang), the SM Entertainment girl group continued its impactful hold on the K-pop industry. ENHYPEN maintained the same pace, taking home two trophies, including one of the biggest awards of the night.
