BishkekFilmFest is the first professional platform in Central Asia focused on the development of the film industry.

On Sunday 15 June, the 3rd Edition of the Bishkek International Film Festival has come to an end, wrapping up five days of screenings, events, and creative exchange. The festival brought together filmmakers from across the region in Kyrgyzstan’s capital city, offering a platform to showcase their work, share professional experiences, and explore opportunities for collaboration and funding. The closing ceremony marked the announcement of this year’s winners, highlighting some of the most notable projects and voices from the festival.

Best Performance goes to “Silent City Driver” – Tuvshinbayar Amartuvshin

Best Director goes to “Silent city Driver” – Sengedorj Janchivdorj

Grand Prix for Best Film goes to “MA- Cry of Silence” – The Maw Naing

Best Directing Jury Prix Award for goes to “Shut Down” – Ilgiz Kuvatbek and Shamilbek Bekbosun uulu

Best Performance Jury Prix Award for goes to “Ayash 4” – Dinara Bagyshbaeva.

Best Cinematography Jury Prix Award for goes to “Wrestler” – Nurbek Mambetisayev.
