The AAPI Employee Resource Group is dedicated to making the U of A the best place for Asians, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to fulfill their career aspirations while maintaining their cultural identity.

The group provides support for the university’s AAPI employees to accomplish the mission of teaching, research and service through strengthening diversity, fostering community and improving retention of students, faculty and staff. AAPI Employee Resource Group aims to develop inclusive leaders to educate, engage and support the strategic initiatives of the university. We plan to provide social networking, professional development and cultural events in the upcoming year.

AAPI Employee Resource Group is not only open to all faculty and staff who identify as Asian, Asian American or Pacific Islander, but allies are also welcome! Employee resource groups at the U of A are recognized workplace groups led voluntarily by employees.

Are you interested in learning more about the AAPI Employee Resource Group? Join us for the Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration at noon Friday, Sept. 13, in Mullins Library room 453! We would love to connect with you. Lunch will be provided; RSVP here. This event is brought to you by the AAPI Employee Resource Group and sponsored by the U of A Office of Equal Opportunity & Compliance.

If you are interested in joining this group or would like to be kept up to date on membership and events, please complete this form.
