The Asian American Alliance, Inc. will host a free health fair aimed at expanding health education, access and preventative care across the Indianapolis community.

The Asian American Alliance Health Fair 2025 is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Nexus Impact Center, 955 Angola Court. Free parking will be available.

“Inspired by the needs of the community, this event was thoughtfully created to support individuals in exploring their health, caring for loved ones and accessing meaningful guidance and resources — wherever they are on their wellness journey, or that of someone they care for,” said Rupal Thanawala, president of the Asian American Alliance, Inc.

The event will feature expert-led sessions on topics including mental health, chronic disease, nutrition and sleep wellness. Attendees can participate in interactive Q&A sessions with health care professionals and take advantage of free screenings for cholesterol, kidney function, sleep and blood sugar.

Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Lindsay Weaver will be a featured speaker, offering her vision and outlining statewide health and wellness initiatives. The fair will also include physician-led panel discussions.

“We warmly welcome everyone to join us in learning, connection and community wellness,” Thanawala said.

Registration is open through July 31 at aaalliance.org
