Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Month with a Tea Tour

    Published on

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – As many communities across the country and in the Midlands celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the focus is on sharing uplifting stories rooted in love rather than hate and showcasing the cultural pride and solidarity within our AAPI communities.

“A Tour of Tea is described by organizers as a “celebrational tasting journey of culture and diversity where every sip tells a story.”  The unique community gathering will highlight the rich traditions and flavors of multiple AAPI countries.

Attendees are invited to enjoy an enchanting experience of tea tasting and cultural exploration, showcasing exquisite teas and delightful snacks from six diverse nations at the iconic Five Points fountain.

Angela Yong, owner of Fit Columbia and Tour of Tea event chair, says this special event “is a great way to celebrate diversity, unity and the joy of sharing cultures through the universal language of tea.”

The ticket price includes admission to the tea-tasting event, snack pairings, educational engagement, music, and more!
