KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Chinese American Association of Greater Kalamazoo is holding the 2025 Kalamazoo Chinese New Year Gala on Saturday.
The event will be at Chenery Auditorium, starting at 6 p.m.
The Gala celebrating the Year of the Snake will include what’s being called a “vibrant lineup of cultural showcases,” including dragon and lion dances, and a variety of music and dance performances featuring more than 50 artists from across west Michigan.
The celebration of heritage and artistry brings together hundreds of attendees each year to honor the vibrant tapestry of Chinese culture.
Tickets are available online for $10 each at this link and in person at the Pacific Rim Asian Market or Hibachi Sushi Buffet on West Kilgore Road in Kalamazoo for $15 each.
