NEW YORK — Asian American voters find Vice President Kamala Harris more appealing than they do former President Donald Trump, a survey published Tuesday reveals, with more than half of respondents planning to vote for her for president.
The number of Asian Americans with a favorable view of Harris has increased since she became the Democratic presidential candidate following incumbent Joe Biden’s decision in July not to seek reelection. Nearly two-thirds, or 62%, of respondents said they have a favorable impression of Harris — a jump of 18 percentage points from the previous survey, conducted in April and May.
