    Hispanic Ex-Manager Sues Asian-American Medical Group Over Bias

    CAIPA Brooklyn BSO LLC has been hit with a new federal lawsuit from a former employee alleging racial discrimination and retaliation in violation of federal, New York state, and New York City law.

    Jesus Gonzalez, who is Hispanic, says he was hired by CAIPA — an independent physician association that says on its website that it “provides medical services and care to 500,000+ individuals in the Asian community” in the Greater New York area—as a manager in April 2022 and successfully ran operations at the company’s Brooklyn location.
