    Japan, Central Asia to partner on AI mining tech at maiden summit

    TOKYO — Japan will soon establish a framework with Central Asian countries where Japanese artificial intelligence technology will help develop the region’s mining sector, Nikkei has learned, as Tokyo looks to engage with a region known as China and Russia’s backyard.
