    KUALA LUMPUR — When it comes to aging leaders, Donald Trump has nothing on Mahathir Mohamad.

    At 78, Trump is the oldest person to be elected president in U.S. history and will return to the White House next January to take over from Joe Biden after four years out of office. When Malaysia’s Mahathir staged his own spectacular return to power in 2018, he was 92.
