Napa’s Winston’s Bakery popping up with Chinese cuisine

    Published on

The owners of Winston’s Cafe and Bakery, a popular brunch and bakery restaurant in downtown Napa, will debut a Chinese-American dinner pop-up called “Winston’s Wok” in early April.

The menu will feature fan favorites including chow mein, stir-fried rice, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and bao buns, something that Alex and Cassan Macaraig say is lacking in Napa.

“Chinese American food has always been one of our favorites — comforting, craveable, and full of flavor. It’s also something Alex loves to cook at home, so bringing it to life at Winston’s feels like a natural extension of what we enjoy sharing with others,” said Cassan Macaraig.

Last November, Winston’s hosted Carabao, a Filipino cuisine pop-up created by Mathew and Jade Cunningham, both French Laundry alums. The food was so popular the couple plan to open a Napa brick-and-mortar restaurant in May.

    Winston’s is at 1517 3rd St, Napa, 707-666-2904, winstonsnapa.com
