    Published on

Seattle’s Chinatown-International District has been shaken by a series of violent stabbings that left ten people injured within just two days.

According to The Gazette Extra, the attacks unfolded on November 7 and November 8, with five victims targeted each day. The November 8 assaults occurred near 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street, turning a bustling neighborhood into a scene of fear and chaos.

As reported by MyNorthwest, victims ranged in age and background, with four of the five injured on November 8 transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. The fifth was treated at the scene.

Seattle Police apprehended a male suspect in his 30s or 40s shortly after the November 8 stabbings, as noted by Fox 9. Authorities recovered a weapon near the arrest site, but a motive for the attacks has not yet been disclosed.

The stabbings have alarmed Seattle’s Chinatown-International District, prompting increased police presence and calls from residents and leaders for urgent measures to enhance safety and protect the community.
