    Vietnamese scientists win Asia Innovation Award 2025

    (VOVWORLD) – Two scientists from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) have been honored with the Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award 2025 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to scientific research and technological development.

    The awardees are Associate Professor Dr. Chu Manh Hung from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, who received the Outstanding Innovation Award, and Dr. Vu Thi Tan from the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, who was presented with an Encouragement Award.

    Launched in 2020 by the Hitachi Global Foundation, the Asia Innovation Award honors excellence in scientific research and technological innovation, while encouraging the practical application of research in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals to address social challenges and advance a sustainable society across ASEAN.

    Last year, the program drew nominations from 26 selected universities across ASEAN member states.
