A longstanding Polaris-area eatery is calling it quits.

Earlier this month, Q2 China Bistro announced it plans to close for good on Oct. 28.

“After 20 wonderful years, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close this location,” a Facebook post announcing the closure reads. “We look forward to continue serving you in new ways in the future. Thank you for your support.”

Fans of the concept took to social media to lament the news. 

“This can’t be real. So sad to hear this news. This is the best Chinese place in this area,” one user wrote. 

“My family and I are so sad to hear this! We’ve enjoyed your delicious food for a very long time. Our favorite Asian restaurant. We wish you well in whatever comes next,” another said.

Q2 China Bistro is located at 472 Polaris Pkwy.  The eatery hinted at a potential future location in Facebook comments, although no concrete for a new home have been announced.
