The Asian Technology Excellence Awards, hosted by the Asian Business Review, is a premier recognition for technological innovation in Asia, highlighting the exceptional contributions of companies in the development and application of advanced technologies. In September 2024, at the award ceremony, FPT Telecom proudly achieved victory with its two products: FPT Camera and FPT Smart Home, in the category of AI – Safety & Security. This category is significant as it acknowledges AI-driven solutions that create a distinctive edge and lead the trend in safety and security monitoring.

The smart ecosystem featuring FPT Telecom’s two products, FPT Camera and FPT Smart Home, was honored at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2024 ceremony.

FPT Camera, a pioneering AI-powered Cloud Camera solution in Vietnam, not only enhances home security but also serves a wide range of business needs by optimising operational efficiency through process automation using technology.

For households, the FPT Camera solution assists in motion detection, differentiating between human and object movements, allowing users to quickly respond to threats, monitor remotely, and ensure 24/7 security. Additional features, such as motion zone detection and image-based notifications, provide maximum convenience to users.

The AI-powered smart alert feature of FPT Camera

With the advantage of owning FPT Corporation’s AI platform and technological expertise, the FPT Camera solution addresses various challenges faced by retail businesses. FPT Camera AI’s solution can count customer foot traffic (People Counting), measure customer density in specific areas (Heat Map), and recognise VIP customers (Face Recognition). This data enables store owners to make informed decisions based on insights provided by FPT Camera. The solution is currently deployed in nearly 100 retail chains with over 3,500 outlets in Vietnam, including Lotte Cinema, Long Châu Pharmacy chain, and Ajinomoto stores, helping business owners evaluate performance across multiple locations.

Additionally, the FPT Smart Home solution, with its integration of AI into smart devices such as ChatGPT-powered virtual assistants, smart sensors, and AI-enabled cameras, provides real-time alerts for dangerous situations. This support allows users to take timely protective actions, offering a personalised, safe, and convenient experience.
