Zeya Health acquires ConnectLah; Asian investors back GMI Cloud’s $668m funding

Zeya Health, a Singapore-headquartered healthtech startup, has announced that it has acquired ConnectLah, a clinic automation firm, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition brings ConnectLah’s product, technology and customer portfolio into Zeya’s platform, which connects patient requests with healthcare providers’ booking rules and existing systems, per the announcement.

Zeya operates as an AI-powered front desk that integrates with clinics’ electronic medical records (EMR) systems and communication channels such as WhatsApp.

The platform automates routine administrative tasks, including appointment reminders, follow-ups, rescheduling and patient engagement while allowing providers to retain their core infrastructure.

Zeya, backed by venture capital firm Antler, said it has recorded 15-fold revenue growth over the past year and now works with healthcare providers in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and Vietnam, as well as a hospital partner in Cambodia.

“Bringing ConnectLah into Zeya gives us the opportunity to extend that work to more providers and the patients they serve,” said Agastya Samat, founder and CEO of Zeya Health.

DSC Investment, Trend Micro, others back GMI Cloud

A number of Asian investors have joined GMI Cloud‘s $668-million funding round as the AI infrastructure provider expands capacity across the US and Asia-Pacific, according to an announcement.

The financing comprises $223 million in Series B equity and a $445-million credit facility led by CTBC. The Series B was led by San Francisco-based AI and robotics investor ARCHIV, with participation from NVIDIA.

Asia-Pacific investors, including DSC Investment, Trend Micro, KB Investment, Kyobo Life and KT Corporation, also participated in the funding round.

GMI Cloud said the funding will support capacity expansion in the US, Taiwan, and other APAC markets, building on its Taiwan AI Factory launched in 2025 and a Japan sovereign AI initiative announced earlier this year.

The company will also use the proceeds to expand its inference services and hire additional staff, per the announcement. It counts Fireworks, Higgsfield, Nous Research, OpenRouter and Trend Micro among its customers.
