Cristina Suzanne is very much active in the film industry

9 Apr – Cristina Suzanne has dismissed the idea that she has quit acting, saying that she is very much active in the film industry.

The actress, who spoke to the media recently, stated that the notion of her retirement might be due to her infrequent posting on social media, which might have made people think she has had no new projects.

“Actually, it is important [to be active online], but not too much that you overshare. Otherwise, people will speculate about you. So, I am more comfortable sharing things when it’s necessary,” she said.

Cristina added that she also only shares things related to filming and not show anything regarding her private life.

The actress is set to star in the new movie, “Jangkar,” helmed by Jason Chong. The movie co-stars Yusof Hashim, Fikry Ibrahim, Noki K-Clique, Alieff Irfan dan Datuk Tarmimi Siregar.

She was last seen on the big screen in 2024’s “Babah,” where she won Asian Most Popular Actress award at the Cambodian Asian Film Festival for her role as Hayati. She also starred in the 2025 drama, “Toksik Cinta,” which streamed via Tonton.
