UOB’s holistic approach to health and wellness spans financial, mental, physical, and social wellness.

UOB landed the Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year – Singapore award at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026 for advancing a comprehensive health and wellness strategy, extending beyond the workplace to customers and the wider community.

Recognising that financial wellbeing is a critical determinant of overall health, UOB introduced a “financial fitness” model, combining Financial Health Checks, Financial Health Booklets, and Financial Fitness Festival, to empower individuals and families with more financial confidence and resilience.

In 2025, through omni-channel financial literacy initiatives combining online content, digital solutions, and high-touch community engagement events, UOB engaged with more than 14,000 participants over 70 events, garnered more than 400,000 visitors to the UOB Financial Literacy Hub, and delivered more than 440 million AI-driven personalised Insight Cards, helping customers make informed financial decisions through timely nudges.

Complementing these efforts, UOB continued to invest in the wellbeing of its employees through a comprehensive framework encompassing physical, mental, financial, and social wellness. Guided by its philosophy of Care, Growth, and Trust, the bank recognises that sustainable performance is closely linked to physical health, mental wellbeing and strong support systems.

To promote physical wellness, UOB strengthened its Move@UOB programme through weekly workout sessions in partnership with the Health Promotion Board (HPB), encouraging active lifestyles and social connection amongst colleagues. UOB also launched the HealthTrack SG corporate programme, providing access to doctor-guided personalised wellness plans for employees with chronic conditions.

For mental wellbeing, UOB expanded its Better Mind programme and enhanced its Employee Assistance Programme, providing 24/7 access to professional counselling, self-care resources and crisis support. The bank also increased its network of Mental Health First Aiders to more than 20 certified employees, helping colleagues access timely support when needed.

Through these integrated financial and health wellbeing initiatives, UOB empowers healthier, more resilient and financially confident individuals across different life stages, reinforcing its position as a customer-centric, people-oriented, and purpose-driven organisation committed to holistic wellbeing.
